As with our textbook, Peripheral Arterial Disease, our goal with this textbook was to provide a comprehensive reference to those who care for patients with vascular disease. This textbook covers all aspects of venous and lymphatic diseases- from common disorders to unusual and rare entities. This book is designed by body region. As such, there may be some overlap between chapters. This overlap is encouraged, because many of the diseases presented are secondary to systemic conditions.

Each author has undertaken an enormous task and has elegantly presented their chapter. We would like to extend our gratitude, to them as well as to those at McGraw-Hill who have been instrumental in bringing our second McGraw-Hill textbook to publication.
