Video 9-2-9: TTE apical 3 chamber view from another patient with a unique fibroelastoma. This patient had a large (asymptomatic) mass detected on TTE 5 years ago performed to evaluate a heart murmur. He was found to have moderate aortic stenosis (AS) at that time. He subsequently developed symptomatic severe AS and underwent aortic valve replacement. The mass appeared unchanged on echocardiography over the 5 years. At surgery, the mass was found attached to the LV wall and was excised. Pathology confirmed the diagnosis of a large CPF.
